Trade Finance (International)

Trade finance provides funding for companies to pay suppliers for the purchase of finished goods, normally against committed customer orders or where there is a proven demand for the product.

Usually trade finance co-exists alongside more traditional forms of funding like discounting and factoring, which we also provide.

Trade finance can take a variety of forms: from purchase finance through letters of credit to schemes funding the VAT element of exports.

  We can help fund the following:

  • Purchase finance to fund the purchase of finished goods against committed
customer orders
     
  • Purchase finance to fund the purchase of raw materials to use in the
